Christ-Centered Excellence
At Winston Salem Christian School (WSCS), we believe that faith and academic excellence go hand in hand. A world-class education does not come at the expense of Christian values—it is enriched by them. Our highly qualified educators teach through a biblical worldview, guiding students to see the world through the lens of faith, wisdom, and truth. At WSCS, students don’t just gain knowledge; they develop a strong moral foundation that prepares them for life beyond the classroom.
Academic Rigor with Purpose
We believe that every student should be challenged to reach their full potential while receiving the support they need to thrive. Our carefully designed curriculum provides the right balance of challenge and guidance, ensuring students are both motivated and equipped for success. In high school, students can earn college credit through AP courses, dual enrollment, and a diverse selection of enrichment courses, giving them a head start on their future. Excellence is our standard, and we empower students to achieve it.
An Engaging & Dynamic Learning Experience
At WSCS, school is more than just a place to learn—it’s a place to explore, create, and belong. Every student should love coming to school, and we’ve built an engaging, hands-on, and student-driven environment that ensures just that.
Upper School students experience a thriving student life program, where they are not just participants but active contributors to their community.
Lower School students look forward to each day with multiple enrichment classes led by master teachers, fostering creativity and curiosity.
Early Learning Center (ELC) students engage in hands-on exploration in our STEM Den, develop a love for music in specialized classes, and build foundational skills in a nurturing environment.
Experiential Learning is provided inside and outside the classroom. Whether through service learning, our Discovery Barn, or class trips, our learning is hands-on! This year students will explore the Creation Museum, experience Disney’s leadership academy, comb the beaches of Sound to Sea, visit our nation’s capital, and participate in more than 10,000 hours of community service.
Unique Learning Spaces abound at WSCS. Our TIDE Lab (Technology, Innovation, Design, and Engineering) inspires tomorrow’s entrepreneurs. Students can watch the miracle of life in our Discovery Barn, edit and design in our Apple Mac Lab, or gather around our Truist Amphitheater. Our Small Chapel is designed for students to practice oratory skills in preparation for the capstone project of senior thesis!
Every day at WSCS is exciting, inspiring, and filled with opportunities—thanks to our passionate teachers and enthusiastic students.
