Early Learning Center (Ages 3–5)
At Winston Salem Christian School’s Early Learning Center (ELC), we provide a year-round, full-time childcare and academic program designed to nurture young learners spiritually, intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Serving children ages 3 through 5, our program offers a strong academic foundation while fostering a love for learning in a Christ-centered environment. We are committed to providing both exceptional preschool education and high-quality childcare, ensuring that every child feels safe, loved, and encouraged to grow.

Monday – Friday | 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
(Closed on observed school holidays as per our academic calendar.)

Spiritual Development

Curriculum
Our primary curriculum at WSCS ELC is the A Beka Curriculum, a trusted program that integrates academic excellence with Biblical principles. Children engage in a variety of subjects, including:
- Bible Stories & Scripture Verses – Strengthening faith and understanding of God’s Word.
- Math & Early Literacy – Laying the groundwork for reading, writing, and numerical fluency.
- Art & Music – Encouraging creativity, expression, and fine motor development.
- Science & Exploration – Introducing hands-on learning through discovery and experimentation.
- Poetry, Nursery Rhymes & Storytelling – Enhancing language skills and imagination.
Enrichment Activities
Beyond core academics, we integrate enriching, hands-on experiences that inspire curiosity and creativity:
STEM Den – One of the most exciting parts of our day! Students explore science, technology, engineering, and math through interactive, hands-on projects, sparking a sense of wonder about the world around them.
Music & Movement – Through engaging songs, rhythm activities, and creative expression, students develop coordination, confidence, and a love for music.
