Lower School Arts
Lower School students participate in music classes twice weekly and learn the basics of music through singing, a variety of musical instruments including percussion instruments. Fourth graders begin to learn the recorder and our fifth graders lead our weekly chapel worship time each week, providing a strong musical foundation for the future.
Students visit art classes twice weekly and are provided the opportunity to use a variety of medium throughout their classes including but not limited to drawing, painting, collage, pottery and sculpture, plus much more!
Our lower school students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of performing arts during their time in our lower school. They can hold minor roles in our upper school productions, participate in our yearly Black History Month program, and our Spring and Winter performances.
