The upper school students at WSCS are divided into four house communities. The houses are named Kardia (Heart), Dianoia (Wisdom), Pnuema (Spirit), and Dunamis (Power). The houses serve as a reminder to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength."
Houses have two responsibilities:
1. Social - They serve as a means to develop relationships within the small community that we have. Older students are encouraged to mentor and train the younger ones. They participate in house lunches and a variety of social outings throughout the year.
2. Service - Each house is challenged to develop a long term service relationship. Each house develops a continual relationship serving a specific organization or group of people throughout the year.
Beyond the elements of social and service, houses compete during LIONS Camp and through the year in fun activities that promote school spirit and positive friendships.
